Last semester at Inigo was all about showing up for real clients, real deadlines and real results. Students poured hours of dedication into internal and client-facing work. The account team, the creative team, the promotions team, the public relations team, the recruitment team and the admin team, all collaborated to best serve their clients and community. During fall 2025, Inigo Communications worked with United Airlines, Flaco’s Tacos, Embelliv, Science Coach, Project Lyme and Loyola’s School of Communication. From Instagram posts with engaging copy to fashion-forward photoshoots and striking newsletter graphics, students continuously evolved and responded to client requests. Inigo has been a great environment for coordinators to take creative risks and think outside the box.

As we begin a new semester, we are looking back on five memorable accomplishments from the fall semester:

  1. Inigo Communications welcomed four new partnerships in fall 2025.

The account team had the privilege of onboarding new clients including Embelliv, Loyola’s School of Communication, Project Lyme and Science Coach while supporting returning clients,United Airlines and Flaco’s Tacos. With the addition of these new clients, teams were challenged to adapt to different industries while creating innovative, industry-specific deliverables.

  1. Coordinators pushed creative boundaries by executing a photoshoot for Embelliv, a women-owned luxury footwear brand.

Embelliv empowers women with handcrafted footwear centered around comfort, quality, and attention to detail. The client team brainstormed a Chicago-focused concept for the photoshoot and conducted it near Loyola’s Water Tower campus. This on-site project was a favorite memory for Katelin Barker, a member of the PR team last semester, because she personally connected with the founders of Embelliv. The founders were impressed with the team’s creative vision and felt that Inigo went above and beyond.

  1. Inigo began planning an agency restructure to allow for growth and development.

As a result of these internal changes, the agency now consists of six teams and 19 unique positions: the account services team, the creative design team, the external communications team, the media and public relations team, the recruitment team and the strategy team. The recruitment team visited 50 classrooms in the Quinlan School of Business and the School of Communication, selecting 29 new members from diverse majors and programs. These visits, along with advertisements on the intercampus shuttle, increased Loyola students’ and staff members’ awareness of Inigo.

  1. The public relations team pitched a mission-focused donation campaign for Project Lyme.

Project Lyme is dedicated to spreading awareness and working towards the eradication of tick-borne diseases. The Giving Tuesday donation campaign for Project Lyme was a new type of deliverable for Inigo. The campaign offered donors a free t-shirt when they donated over a certain amount. The first deliverable was a comprehensive strategy for the Giving Tuesday campaign followed by deliverable two, which included unique graphics that aligned with Inigo’s campaign strategy in deliverable one. The last deliverable was an updated newsletter, which was inspired by the strategy and design choices from the previous deliverables.

  1. Inigo elevated United Airlines’ safety division’s social media presence by developing football-themed Instagram content for internal employees.

This deliverable for United Airlines was a personal favorite for Ellen Karaba, the current president of Inigo. United gave the team creative freedom, which allowed the team to be imaginative. The creative team enjoyed combining themes from football and aviation into one campaign.

Ultimately, last semester was defined by professional growth and collaborative learning. Inigo Communications is excited for what is to come in the spring of 2026 and cannot wait to continue to share our story with you.
